AWAY: Journey to a Unexpected

Playdius has announced AWAY: Journey to a Unexpected, a subsequent diversion from The Next Penelope creator Aurelien Regard and Rayman array turn engineer Jim Gennisson. It will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, and Mac in 2017.

AWAY initial seemed on a list of 64 indie games entrance to Switch in 2017.

The teaser trailer reveals AWAY to be a first-person, anime-inspired diversion that combines 2D characters with 3D backgrounds. Playdius provides a brief overview:
